Drummer Frederick Kennedy is originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Fred started playing drums at age 10, taking private lessons at a local music store and playing in school ensembles.
After a stint playing in bands and doing some recording, Fred moved to Texas to study with Ed Soph at the University of North Texas.
After graduating with a degree in music, Fred moved to New York City to pursue his playing career. In the past few years, Fred has the good fortune to play with a variety of great artists and musicians.
Fred currently resides in Astoria, NY.
